About Rain98 Guide

Rain98 Guide is an unofficial fan site about Rain98, the Lo-Fi psychological suspense game from C#4R4CT3R, and about the free demo that released on Steam on 16 October 2026.

What is here

The site covers the demo as it exists today — what the three hours contain, how the money and sticker loops work, where the build ends — and everything the studio has published about the full 2026 release, the platforms it is coming to, its languages and its music. It is written for players who are already inside the demo and want the systems explained, and for players deciding whether the game is for them.

How the information is sourced

Every factual claim on this site comes from one of three places:

• the official Rain98 store page and the Rain98 Demo store page on Steam;
• the studio's own Steam announcements and its director's messages;
• the game's official channels — Discord, X and YouTube.

Screenshots and key art are the developer's official promotional material, used for reference with attribution. Where the studio has published nothing — the number of endings, a release date, console versions — the gap is left open rather than filled with guesswork.

Corrections and contact

Spotted something that has changed since it was checked, or something that is simply wrong? The contact page says how to get in touch. The date each page was last verified is printed in the site footer, and pages are updated when the studio publishes new information.
